Joe Hallenbeck: “This is the ’90s. You can’t just walk up and slap a guy, you have to say something cool first,”.

The Last Boy Scout is a movie with big action and big stars!  Bruce Willis and Damon Wayons. The film was directed by Tony Scott and it is a great action piece from history.

The music was composed by Michael Kamen.

Here is the basic plot…Once a first-rate Secret Service agent, Joe Hallenbeck (Bruce Willis) is now a gruff private investigator whose latest gig is protecting a pole dancer (Halle Berry). When she’s murdered, he grudgingly teams up with her boyfriend, Jimmy Dix (Damon Wayans), an ex-quarterback with a gambling problem, and the two go after her killers. Before long, they stumble onto a plot by a well-known football magnate (Noble Willingham) to bribe federal legislators into legalizing sports gambling.

You’ll find I don’t have a lot to say about the film, except I love Michael Kamen’s music for the film, Michael Kamen worked well with action cues and brought that out more here in this film.
