” Iron Man. That’s kind of catchy. It’s got a nice ring to it. I mean it’s not technically accurate. The suit’s a gold titanium alloy, but it’s kind of provocative, the imagery anyway.”
Thus said by Tony Stark in Iron Man. This movie started the ball rolling on Marvel movies and I just had revisited the soundtrack this last week. I love how Ramin Djawadi really blends the violin peices with modern rock guitar and the metal sounds that are clearly an anvil being pounded on with a metal hammer. I love it. The movie is a ton of fun with Robert Downey Jr. being the main star and having a whole crew of great actors in the movie.
I feel that with it being the first Marvel reboot movie of the new age, it kickstarted the whole franchise forward with its gritty yet fun feel.
You have the guy billionare with tons of gadgets and toys, almost unlimited time on his hands and given a shove to see what his weapons have wrought. I truly love watching the film and love the soundtrack.
I’ll give you a brief sample today for your enjoyment.
Later this week, I’ll give you some more wonderful tidbits on another soundtrack many don’t hear about. See you then. Happy Listening!
