What is the quest for water, or the seventh world? The Ice Pirates is the answer. This is a movie from the 1980’s, particularly 1984. It didn’t get alot of press and was kind of a cult classic. The soundtrack was composed by Bruce Broughton. He did a lot of soundtrack music for television shows of the 1960’s, but was also known for Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs music.
The plot of the movie The Ice Pirates is …Space raider Jason (Robert Urich) and his sidekick (Michael D. Roberts) help a princess (Mary Crosby) find her father, an explorer seeking water.
It seems to be a very simple plot, but there is so much more, time warp, robots who disasemble themselves and Space Herpes.
