This zany 80’s sci-fi comedy had landed in 1987 to cure the audiences of 1988 with rockin hair bands of the 80’s and give us a most excellent adventure through time.
With actors like George Carlin and Keanu Reaves it made the movie a success.
When looking back on this fantastic movie, you can’t help but laugh at the characters in the movie such as Napoleon, Billy the Kid, Socrates, and Abraham Lincoln. It made the movie enjoyable to watch and give you that great feel good movie feeling.
What is this great movie about? Here is the plot…Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) are high school buddies starting a band. However, they are about to fail their history class, which means Ted would be sent to military school. They receive help from Rufus (George Carlin), a traveler from a future where their band is the foundation for a perfect society. With the use of Rufus’ time machine, Bill and Ted travel to various points in history, returning with important figures to help them complete their final history presentation.
The film was directed by Stephen Herek and the music was made by various rock artist of the 80’s. Also the score was done by David Newman who is under appreciated for this fantastic romp through history and time travel. You must check it out!
