Look forward to this Friday on Soundtrack Alley. Have you ever had a movie that traumatized you for life? It changed your life so much that certain things didn’t affect you anymore, you were not afraid of certain events anymore, or that you could endure something dark that others couldn’t understand. The Never-ending Story is like that, it’s a fantasy film but also extremely dark. It’s a great adventure film, but then there is the other side of it, where in the real world the actual person reading the book doesn’t have any connection with his family or friends. He’s alone in the real world. The book writes itself for him and he gets sucked into a world that is beyond imagination.

Friday you’ll hear some trivia on the film as well as the great score by Klaus Doldinger. Many people think of the song that is featured prominently in Stranger Things season 3, and yes its a great song. Let’s revisit it through the YouTube video…
