Today is the debut of a project I’ve had in the works for a little while. I don’t know how it will go over, but I’d love feedback from my listeners as well as my subscribers. The show is called Cue Perception. Once in awhile the show will last close to 20 minutes long, but mostly it will stay within the 10 minute mark. I’ll examine a cue from a film, discuss it very briefly and explain why I like it and how it relates in the film. Then I’ll play the cue. This week is Waterworld. The cue is Escaping the Smokers. The composer of course is JAMES NEWTON HOWARD. I really appreciate the score since it was my first bought score that I owned. I really enjoy this film and soon on Cinematic Sound Radio Erik Woods and I will discuss it. Future episodes are always enjoyable to wet the appetite of my audience. Please give me feedback through soundtrackalley@gmail.com or comment on the post here on my website. Or if you are so inclined include a review on Apple Podcast.
