“I shall go on hurting you. With every breath of my being”. Khan was the most formidable villian of Star Trek TOS. He held a presence on screen and launching him into the film franchise was a stroke of pure genius. This film kicked off a trilogy that would span time and space, changing the very nature of the characters. These beloved characters whom we’ve seen through hard times in the original series and onto the big screen. The music of James Horner really helps the film bring out new themes for the characters and the adventure they take.

Today Erik Woods and I will delve into the movie directed by Nicolas Meyer and score by James Horner.
