There have been several discussions as of late about the film music of Henry Jackman. There are positive points of his various scores and then there are negative sides to some of his scores. Where do you stand? Where do I stand? I’ve examined some of his scores and have found them adequate but not truly amazing. I mean don’t get me wrong, the new Jumunji: Welcome to the Jungle album is great, as well as Wreck it Ralph, however there are elements of other scores of his that actually do stand out as stellar! To name just a couple more are ones like Uncharted: Lost Legacy which is a video game soundtrack and he does a phenominal job on that score. Also Kong: Skull Island has some great action motifs that make that movie stand out.

I’m just going to show a few clips from some of the score music of Henry Jackman and maybe in the comments you can tell me what you think of his music?

First Big Hero 6…

The next clip is Jumunji: Welcome to the Jungle…

Another clip I’d like to share is a clip from Captain America: The Winter Soldier…

The last clip I’ll play is from Kong: Skull Island…Soon Soundtrack Alley will come back…
